Traditional thai pads are made from several layers of foam of varying density to create shock absorbance and durability. Invariably, these high density materials are very heavy and make the thai pads extremely heavy to hold and use for extended workouts. The pro series thai pads are made from injection molded foam padding, which is extremely durable and highly shock absorbing, but at the same time very light in weight, allowing for these extra thick thai pads to weigh under 3lbs each, 40% lighter than pads made from traditional layered padding. These are undisputedly the most technologically advanced kick pads.
