After 2 years of extensive R&D, Aries is proud to present our new and exclusive HYBRID ELITE SHIN INSTEP GUARD.

This shin guard has been designed exclusively for MMA training, where there is a need for extreme protection during full contact sparring, flexibility during ground fighting and a firm and effective strap system that prevents the shin guard from shifting, slipping, spinning or moving during extensive training sessions.

The padding is composed of a single piece of self contoured IMF (Injection molded polyurethane foam) padding which is ergonomically contoured to have maximum protection in the shin area, which gradually tapers along the sides for a snug wrap-around design. It has 3 vertical air pockets that create an air cushion during impact. The padding is backed with a ¼” perforated high density padding that creates a gradual air release system, thereby minimizing the impact. The outer covering is of top grade cowhide leather for durable yet soft feel.

Finally, it features our new and exclusive, patented CROSSGRIP-DSS dual strap system. This innovative dual strap system consists of an upper and a lower strap, which run in opposite directions, thereby producing opposing forces on the shin guard to prevent any possible slipping, shifting or spinning around the leg.
